About the Project

Tatiana Castellanos is a mindfulness coach offering services in meditation, yoga, art therapy, and somatic healing. She needed a professional and calming website that reflected her practice and helped clients easily learn about her offerings and book sessions.

Goal

Design a clear, calming, and professional online presence that feels like an extension of Tatiana’s in-person practice.

  • Create a serene, trustworthy visual identity that reflects mindfulness and healing

  • Clarify site navigation and structure

  • Streamline the booking process for improved usability

  • Ensure mobile responsiveness and accessibility

  • Provide an intuitive content flow that supports Tatiana’s voice and values

People seeking mindfulness-based services and somatic healing, particularly women and professionals looking for emotional balance and holistic well-being. The design needed to feel warm, trustworthy, and easy to navigate for both first-time and returning clients.

  • Translating a deeply personal, emotionally driven service into a clear, digital format

  • Simplifying dense or abstract content without losing depth

  • Ensuring accessibility without compromising visual minimalism

  • Balancing artistic direction with conversion-focused UX

I led the project from start to finish, beginning with a site audit and collaborative conversation with Tatiana to define her goals, voice, and audience. I then created wireframes in Figma and iterated on layout, typography, and structure before implementing the design in Squarespace. I performed QA testing to ensure functionality and usability across devices.

Color Palette

Soft neutrals and warm earth tones were selected to evoke calm, safety, and emotional warmth. These hues reinforce Tatiana’s identity and support a peaceful, non-clinical experience.

Imagery & Layout

I directed the creative vision for the photoshoot to ensure the visuals aligned with Tatiana’s practice. This included selecting natural environments, guiding the mood and composition, and styling wardrobe choices. Tatiana wore soft, earth-toned garments with flowing textures to evoke groundedness, clarity, and emotional warmth.

The photography was captured using a 35mm analog camera, adding a soft, organic texture that reinforces the authenticity and mindfulness at the core of her brand. We emphasized natural light and open compositions, integrating the visuals into clean, breathable layouts that support reflection, trust, and ease of navigation.

“I feel really happy with the website. Daniela truly captured my essence and the spirit of my work, presenting a clear and beautiful reflection of who I am and the services I offer.”

Tatiana

This project deepened my appreciation for the emotional layer of UX. I learned how visual and interaction design can communicate presence, trust, and safety and how to guide a solo practitioner’s vision from abstract values into a real, usable product. Working with analog imagery also reminded me how texture, light, and tone can enhance digital authenticity.

  • Simplified navigation and improved booking flow

  • Positive client feedback and increased session inquiries

  • A calm, professional brand presence that resonates with Tatiana’s practice

  • A website she now confidently shares with new and returning clients
